Zusammenfassung

Chronisch rezidivierende Lahmheiten an der Vorhand des Pferdes haben ihre Ursachen oftmals in ungünstigen kongenitalen oder erworbenen Gebäudeeigenschaften. Diese mithilfe des „diagnostischen Blickes“ zu erkennen ist wichtig, damit rechtzeitig in das Management des Pferdes eingegriffen werden kann. Wenn ungünstige Gebäudeeigenschaften übersehen werden, sind direkte lokale Maßnahmen an der Gliedmaße sowie physiotherapeutische proximale Eingriffe langfristig sinnlos. Die Prognose bleibt ungünstig. Eine bessere züchterische Auswahl sowie Kenntnisse der biomechanischen Eigenschaften des Pferdegebäudes seitens des Tierarztes können dem Pferd viel Leid ersparen.

Summary

Chronically recurrent lameness located in the forehand of the horse is often based on inappropriate congenital or gained conformation of the exterior. It is necessary to recognize these characteristics with the aid of a so-called “diagnostic view” because of the necessity influencing the horse management early enough. If a bad conformation of the exterior is not recognized, direct local techniques at the member and physiotherapeutic proximal intervention make no sense in the long term. The overall prognoses generally will be bad. A better choice in breeding and knowledge of the biomechanical nature of the horse's exterior coming from a veterinarian may avoid a lot of pain for the horse.
